For years the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), one of the country’s largest single-trade associations, couldn’t communicate with its members. As a result, more than 130,000 REALTORS® had little recognition for the association’s value, despite using its tools daily. When CREA’s structure changed, we saw an opportunity to engage its members for the first time – and start a lasting relationship that’s had a lasting impact.

Through deep research and stakeholder workshops, we architected a structure where there wasn’t one before: a new brand identity – not just for CREA, but for each of its member products – coupled with a five-year communications plan to effectively articulate its value.

CREA’s digital properties were disparately designed, didn’t speak in the same voice, and didn’t reflect the level of service the brand provides its members. After a holistic review, we redesigned and built them to speak to one another, deliver more value to REALTORS®, and reflect a consistent association to the newly revamped parent brand.
With pages like CREA Café and REALTORS Care®, CREA.ca lives the association’s pledge to serve the best interests of its members.
Previously just an MLS® search function, REALTOR.ca, which we enhanced and gave a proper brand identity, is now the most trusted real estate website in the country.
To help CREA strengthen its role as an advocate for its members, we designed and built a platform that connects REALTORS® with Members of Parliament regarding policies that could impact their business.

Building off the success of REAL TIME – Let’s Talk, we created the REAL TIME podcast, monthly conversations with leading experts on all things Canadian real estate, giving REALTORS® actionable advice straight from their earbuds.
To help REALTORS® further engage their homebuyers, we developed and continue to produce and manage content for Living Room, a REALTOR.ca content hub sharing weekly neighbourhood guides, home improvement tips, and market trends with both CREA members and the public.
