Indigenous Tourism Entrepreneurship Training

Ottawa Tourism, in partnership with Algonquin College, created the Indigenous Tourism Entrepreneurship Training (ITET) program to help budding Indigenous entrepreneurs kickstart tourism businesses grounded in their cultural values.

To help pilot the program, we created a promotional campaign that captured the authentic, inspiring story of Cezin Nottaway, an Algonquin College graduate, chef, and proud Anishinaabe First Nation entrepreneur.

As the ITET program successfully completed its first year, we kept up the momentum by capturing the stories of some of its graduates – now successful business owners – to further promote the initiative.
