Lauren is the Director, Client Services and Strategy at Alphabet®. From corporate communications to brand strategy, her experience spans more than a decade—across two continents and within various sectors. She is fuelled by an insatiable curiosity of human behaviour, excavating insights via research and through deep, genuine conversations. Lauren believes people’s stories can scale into universal truths and are often the essence of solid brand thinking.
Her career began in Toronto, where she gained a firm understanding of the capital markets landscape working in investor relations. Leveraging her experience with global public limited companies (PLCs), Lauren moved to London, England, spending a decade working at various creative agencies. Her expertise expanded to annual and sustainability reporting, deepening her knowledge of corporate strategy and purpose driven storytelling. She spent four years at a top British agency, Radley Yeldar, digging into insight-led communications planning, campaign and marketing strategy, digital content production, and website development in the brand, corporate, and sustainability communications space. During this time, Lauren was the lead strategist on accounts like GlaxoSmithKline and worked extensively with global brands such as The Crown Estate, HEINEKEN, and Shell.
As Director, Client Services and Strategy, Lauren’s ultimate goal is producing high-quality, results-driven solutions that consistently meet business objectives. She leads the Client Services department, helping foster strong client relationships and elevating internal processes, and works closely with the Creative and Digital departments to identify opportunities and provide calculated guidance. Her approach is collaborative and intentional, focusing on how she can add value to clients and team members by always asking the ‘why’ behind the ‘why’.
Lauren creates clear strategies to craft focused messaging and brand identities for clients wanting to dig deeper into who they are and how they want to be presented to the world. Most recently she led the rebrands of local nonprofits—The Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA) and We Animals Media—helping evolve their identity and narratives to create truly impactful brands.
Lauren is well-versed in complex healthcare, consumer and member-based organizations. Her deep understanding of operations, marketing and communications offers clients big-picture, long-term strategies to help meet their business goals.
